New Chelsea signing Noni Madueke was not involved in the game against Liverpool on Saturday despite joining on Friday from Dutch club PSV Eindhoven.
Chelsea boss Graham Potter has given his verdict on the winger for the first time.
Potter said: “Now I can speak about him because he’s a Chelsea player. He’s an exciting player and brings a left-footed attacking option for us and competition in that area of the pitch.”
“I’m really pleased to sign with one of the best clubs in the world in Chelsea,” Madueke said on finalising his transfer to Chelsea.
“To return to England and play in the Premier League is a dream for me and my family and I can’t wait to get started. I am excited for what the future holds, the owner’s vision for the future and to be at a club like this and winning at the highest level.”
