Chelsea boss Graham Potter has promised fans there is plenty more to come from new signing Mykhailo Mudryk after an exciting debut.
It was Mudryk’s first competitive action in 59 days and Potter was impressed by what he saw from the winger.
Asked if Mudryk was in contention to start, Potter said: “No, he’s not played since November. Hasn’t had any game time. It would’ve been a risk.
“He’ll get better the more he is with us.”
He added: “Sometimes people think us coaches turn top players into top players. But [players like] Mudryk understand the game. It’s just fine-turning it a bit.”
