Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has admitted that star striker Erling Haaland may miss FA Cup semi-final clash with Chelsea at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening.
Erling Haaland was subbed off ahead of extra time in Man City’s Champions League second leg quarter-final clash against Real Madrid.
Pep Guardiola has revealed that Haaland picked up a small issue and is a doubt for their FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.
“We will see,” Pep said on Haaland’s availability for Saturday.
“It was a tough game, a lot of action, high intensity for both sides. Erling felt something, a muscular issue. That’s why he told me he could not continue.
“The [doctor] said he had a little bit of niggles, a little problem, we will see how his evolution is in the next hours.”
Haaland and Cole Palmer are currently the league’s top scorer with 20 goals.
