The penalty fight involving Noni Madueke, Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer, passed a bad image about the Chelsea team.
Madueke and Jackson tried to fight off Palmer from taking the penalty, and it was a bad scene to witness.
Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino has admitted he enforced discipline in the dressing room following the penalty row, and had a meeting with the players, staff and even sporting directors.
“I made it clear after the game. We had a meeting with all the players, staff and the sporting directors,” Mauricio Pochettino told a press conference when asked about how he dealt with the row over a penalty in the Everton game.
“I explained my feelings and delivered a clear message that I delivered in my media and press conference. We move on and I think they understood the situation.
“In some [ways] it’s an image you don’t like, in another [way] it’s good if the player wants to take the responsibility and take the penalties, show their personality and the character of the team. But they need to respect the rules.
“Discipline is so important. The way they approached what they did was in a very wrong way. Now it’s important for us to learn and apply the common sense and behave in a different way in the future.”
Cole pamler qualify to take the penalty against Everton I didn’t see anything wrong there if Nikola Jackson leave the penalty to pamler which is not fair so please let the boss talk to them as well
