Chelsea are believed to have agreed terms with Estevao Willian aka Messinho from Palmeiras, with a deal imminent.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, personal terms between player and club have been agreed.

“Chelsea want to seal Willian Estevao deal as soon as possible after personal terms are agreed upon, as reported,” said Romano.

“Negotiations are underway with Palmeiras while Chelsea want to get it done in the next days to avoid any surprise.

“Chelsea believe he’s a generational talent and a big opportunity.”

Messinho has now reacted to the transfer rumours linking him with Chelsea, as he insists he’s still focused on Palmeiras.

Reacting to the transfer links, he revealed: “Chelsea? My head today is 100% focused on Palmeiras. I don’t think of these things, they’re secondary. I think of helping Palmeiras and trying my hardest to bring them glory.”
