Liverpool and Stoke City great, Peter Crouch has admitted he’s a fan of Cole Palmer.
Crouch made this known while speaking on his podcast after watching the 2-0 defeat to Brentford last Saturday.
Palmer was unarguably Chelsea’s best player on that occasion— as he’s been in a lot of other games since his £40m transfer from Manchester City over the summer.
Crouch said on The Peter Crouch podcast: “I was at Chelsea last week against Brentford and they were poor. They were decent first half, and I thought Cole Palmer was really impressive. I really like him as a player.
“But I thought the rest… Raheem Sterling had some cutting edge, but they are short in a lot of areas I think. It was disappointing. Brentford deserved to win I think. They didn’t play great first-half, but they soaked it up and hit them on the break.”
