According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his YouTube channel, Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia has communicated in very clear way to all parties involved that he wants to join Chelsea.

Liverpool are also keen on signing the Belgium international and have agreed a £60million fee with Southampton but Lavia only wants Chelsea.

Chelsea and Southampton were in contact on Monday night, and are really close to completing the agreement. It’s a matter of hours now before Lavia becomes a Chelsea player.

Chelsea are expected to sign Lavia in a deal worth £50million plus add-ons.
