Chelsea have reportedly finalized the first departure of the summer transfer window.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have agreed the permanent transfer of Hakim Ziyech.
The 31-year-old Moroccan winger, who was on a season-long loan at Galatasaray, will now remain with the Turkish team on a long-term basis.
Romano posted on X: “Hakim Ziyech will not return to Chelsea as he’s staying to Galatasaray on permanent move.
“Obligation to buy clause, triggered and signed as Chelsea already sent letter to Gala confirming the agreement.”
There was speculation in January that Galatasaray might end Ziyech’s loan prematurely because of injuries.
However, his performance in the latter half of the season appears to have convinced them to secure a long-term agreement.
This season, Ziyech has netted eight goals in 21 appearances.
