According to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan have gone on the offensive and are close to signing Chelsea stars Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic thanks to money from the sale of Sandro Tonali.

AC Milan have reignited their interest in signing Loftus-Cheek after agreeing to sell Tonali to Newcastle for £65million.

Milan had walked away from talks over Loftus-Cheek when club legend and sporting director Paolo Maldini was sacked earlier this month.

But the Serie A giants have renewed their interest and want Loftus-Cheek to replace Tonali at the heart of their midfield.

AC Milan are also keen on signing Pulisic and they have been in touch with Chelsea regarding a summer move for the American international.

Pulisic has struggled for regular game time at Chelsea, and a move away from Stamford Bridge would be ideal for him. And recent reports have claimed that he is keen on joining AC Milan this summer as he looks to resurrect his career.
