Chelsea boosted their chances of European football next season, after a 5-0 thumping of West Ham in the Premier League, with Cole Palmer, Conor Gallagher, Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson (brace), all getting on the scoresheet.

The result raised Chelsea to seventh in the table overtaking Manchester United, who play on Monday, and putting the Blues within striking range of qualification for the Europa League.

See some impressive stats from the game

1. The result extends David Moyes’ terrible record when visiting Chelsea as a manager, failing to win any of his 19 trips – losing 12 and drawing seven.

      2. Chelsea have won nine of their past 11 home Premier League outings and they are now on a four-game winning streak at Stamford Bridge, having beaten Manchester United, Everton, Tottenham and now West Ham.

      3. Chelsea have kept back to back clean sheets for the first time this season, after beating Tottenham 2-0 and West Ham 6-0. In fact, it’s a record that predates Mauricio Pochettino, as it’s Chelsea’s first back to back clean sheet in the league for the first time since February 2023.
