Chelsea boosted our prospects of qualifying for European competition next season with a convincing 5-0 win over West Ham at Stamford Bridge.

Cole Palmer was the first to score, capitalizing on a loose ball in the West Ham box 15 minutes into the game.

West Ham nearly equalized right after when Jarrod Bowen’s header hit the crossbar, but Chelsea dominated the game thereafter.

Conor Gallagher extended Chelsea’s lead at the 30-minute mark, followed by Noni Madueke who added a third with a header six minutes later.

In the second half, Nicolas Jackson netted twice, completing a thoroughly successful day for the Blues.

With only three matches remaining, Chelsea has moved up to seventh place, just two points behind sixth-placed Newcastle. Meanwhile, West Ham remain in ninth with two games left in their season.
