Chelsea have sealed passage to the semi-final of the FA Cup.

The semi-final draw for the 2023-24 FA Cup was made on Sunday – Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Coventry City are the four teams left in the competition.

Coventry surprisingly ousted Wolves, Manchester City beat Newcastle, Chelsea eliminated Leicester City, while Manchester United were the last team to book their spot in the last four of the competition with a dramatic 4-3 win over Liverpool in extra-time.

Chelsea, meanwhile, were given a scare by Championship leaders Leicester City. The Blues were cruising to a two-goal lead at half-time, but the Foxes drew level in the second-half. Chelsea would go on to win 4-2 in added time.

The FA Cup is very important to Chelsea, as it would secure European football for the Blues, amid a poor Premier League campaign, with Chelsea currently languishing in mid-table.

This season’s semi-finals will be played at Wembley on April 20 and April 21 respectively.
