Palmer has become a key figure for Chelsea, contributing to the club’s advancement to the FA Cup semi-finals with a goal in the 4-2 victory over Leicester.

His impressive season tally of 14 goals and 12 assists has distinguished him as a pivotal player for the Blues, attracting attention beyond the club.

Following his standout performances, England manager Gareth Southgate included him in the squad for the upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Belgium, building on his initial two caps earned in November.

According to the Daily Star via The Sun, the Blues hierarchy is set to acknowledge Palmer’s remarkable debut season with a considerable upgrade to his contract and earnings.

The forward is expected to see a substantial increase in his salary, with reports suggesting his weekly pay will rise to approximately £150,000 next season, nearly doubling his current earnings.
