Chelsea goalkeeper, Djordje Petrovic has expressed frustration with the club’s latest result in the Premier League.
The Blues came from behind to draw 2-2 with Brentford last Saturday after initially leading at the GTech stadium.
The result effectively leaves Chelsea 11th on the league table, with more distance now between Chelsea and the top four than the relegation zone.
“Of course, we are not happy with this result because our goal for every game is to take three points,” Petrovic told the official Chelsea website in a post-match interview.
“We were in control in the first half but in the second half, we conceded two goals and then we had a fight on our hands. Credit to Brentford, they played a good game but we are not happy because our goal was to win this game.
“Now, we must focus on the next game and putting it right against Newcastle. With the game being on Monday night, we have a lot of time to recover and focus on what we need to do to get the three points there.”
Chelsea will face Newcastle at Stamford Bridge next Monday, March 11, and need a win in that game to keep up hopes of playing in Europe.
