Former Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, has slammed Maurizio Sarri for treating him badly at Chelsea.
Signed as a £40m player from Monaco, Bakayoko failed to live up to expectations under former boss Antonio Conte.
Conte’s predecessor, Sarri, didn’t bother giving Bakayoko a chance, and rather signed Jorginho from Napoli.
According to Bakayoko, Sarri didn’t speak to him after signing Jorginho.
“Maurizio Sarri arrived with Jorginho, and he didn’t speak to me,” the Frenchman said to L’Equipe.
“I knew I had to leave. How can I describe my experience at Chelsea? Sometimes I sit on my sofa, think about my career and say to myself: ‘What was the problem?’”
Bakayoko went on several loan spells before eventually leaving Chelsea.
Bakayoko, who’s 29, currently plays for Ligue One side Lorient.
