FC Copenhagen sporting director, Peter Christiansen has confirmed interest in Roony Bardghji from top clubs across Europe, including Chelsea.

The Swedish international has caught the eye with his brilliant displays for Copenhagen, and now has the likes of Barcelona and Juventus also looking in his direction.

“There is a lot of interest in Roony and there has been for a long time. He is a great talent. He is a hyped player and has been for years. Scoring a goal against Manchester United turns it up a bit, that’s for sure,” Christiansen tells TV4.

“He is an insanely exciting player and now he got the chance from the start. Then we’ll see if he can deliver on the biggest stage in Europe.”

Christiansen also warned that the 18-year-old will not come cheap, adding that clubs that want him will have to pay a lot of money.

“Yes, I think so. We decide that,” he continued.

“The clubs that want Roony have to pay a lot of money, or he will stay for a couple of years at FC Copenhagen.”
