Inter Milan eyeing Chelsea star who has scored just once in a year

Inter Milan are eyeing a transfer for Chelsea striker, Armando Broja, according to fresh reports.

Broja scored his first Chelsea goal against Fulham last week, after a year of battling injury. The Albania international has shown glimpses of what he can bring to the table, but he hasn’t quite made a statement for himself at Stamford Bridge.

Despite scoring against the Cottagers, Broja struggled to threaten Burnley’s goal after he was handed a rare start by Pochettino, and had to be hauled off at half-time.

Italian media outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Inter are confident they can tempt Chelsea into selling the 22-year-old if his form doesn’t improve.

The Italian club are also hoping that Chelsea would agree to a loan move if they don’t want to sell immediately, as both clubs have maintained a great relationship, despite the failed transfer of Romelu Lukaku to Inter in the summer, the outlet adds.

Inter have reportedly followed Broja since his days at Vitesse, where he spent an entire season on loan during the 2020-21 campaign, and scored an impressive 11 goals in 34 games.
