According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his YouTube channel, there is no chance of Iván Fresneda joining Chelsea this summer as the club has different plans as of now.

Chelsea were previously ready to hijack Barcelona’s move for the 18-year-old Real Valladolid right-back.

Chelsea were ready to rival Barcelona for the signature of the Spain under-19 international with Valladolid wanting between £6.3 and £8.5 million for the defender.

But Romano has now confirmed Chelsea are no longer interested in signing the Spanish right-back.
