Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has urged the Chelsea hierarchy to improve his squad before the transfer window closes.
Asked what Chelsea need to do better after the 1-1 draw against Liverpool, Pochettino said: “Well I think it’s only the beginning. There were a lot of positive things, you know. But we need to improve in all the areas if we want to be a contender.
“I think we need to improve our squad also, we are working hard to try because we need to improve our squad, and then of course it’s about working all together the moment the transfer window closes and start to work really hard to try to find the best dynamic and the best way to play.
“But the principles are settled, step by step we need to go in this way. This result gives us belief I think and that is why I am pleased with everything.”
