Incoming Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has been officially confirmed as the new World XI manager for the Soccer Aid game at Old Trafford next month.

Pochettino’s side with face an England XI at Old Trafford on June 12 where he will manage the likes of Roberto Carlos, Gabriel Batistuta and Patrice Evra.

The 51-year-old said: “The match raises so much money for UNICEF. I love English football stadiums, the passion the fans show for the game and the atmosphere they create, so it will be great to feel that again.”
