A report on Football London has explained why Chelsea is yet to announce Mauricio Pochettino as the new Chelsea manager despite reaching an agreement with the Argentine to become Chelsea’s next manager.
The report adds: “There is nothing to be concerned about for Chelsea supporters with the imminent appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as the club’s new first-team head coach.
“Pochettino is expected to be in London to sign the contract this week and finalise the deal to see him take over at the end of the season. The former Tottenham manager is expected to sign a three-year deal at Stamford Bridge – and that is still the case.
“While the reason for the slight hold-up and the fact we haven’t heard any proper updates since the weekend is unknown, a source has told football.london that this was always expected and there is nothing to be concerned about in that regard. It’s ultimately up to Chelsea as a club when they announce the deal. The Blues could even wait until the end of the season until it’s made official to the public, but that remains to be seen.”
