Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has hailed the quality of Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, who is attracting interest from Chelsea.

Speaking on BT Sport, Rio Ferdinand said: “Andre Onana is absolutely top class, takes the ball under pressure, doesn’t panic.

“Modern-day goalkeeper. He brings the other team onto him and creates space around that and he plays over the press as well or through the press.

“I think he was fabulous tonight [against AC Milan] in doing that. He’s somebody you’re going to need if you’re going to win the Champions League.”
