Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has begged Jude Bellingham to snub Chelsea in favour of a move to Manchester United.

The 19 year old Borussia Dortmund midfielder impressed for England at the World Cup and is set to leave the German side next summer.

“Jude Bellingham has been a phenomenon at the World Cup,” Ferdinand said on his YouTube channel. “He has announced himself to the world now that he’s a player here to say.

“He has got so much growth, room for improvement still, but he absolutely influenced games in an England shirt like we’ve never seen a teenager do for England.

“Manchester United, bring him here. Make that your home, Jude. You come and help change shift the culture and take the club to the heights it should be at!

“He’s been flying the flag abroad, he’s done his bit in Germany, it’s time to come home baby.”

Meanwhile, Paul Ince has warned Jude Bellingham he could struggle like Jadon Sancho if he moves to the Premier League too soon amid interest from Chelsea.

“It’s early doors yet and Jude Bellingham hasn’t yet played in the Premier League so he’s got a long way before he is at the level of the players I played with,” Ince told Lord Ping.

“Paul Gascoigne is one of, if not the best player I ever played with and It’s a long time before Jude Bellingham gets to that level but the potential is definitely there to do that.

“There will be a lot of clubs after Jude but he has to be careful because you look at Jadon Sancho coming from Dortmund and he’s struggled a bit at Old Trafford. It’s about timing.

“Sancho moved to the biggest club in the country and is struggling, so Bellingham needs to sit down with his people and decide what he will do. There’s no rush for him to play in the Premier League.”
