Liverpool are reportedly keeping a close eye on Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo, despite the player’s interest in reuniting with former boss, Graham Porter at Chelsea.

Football Insider reports that Chelsea are planning to make a move for the talented midfielder as Graham Potter know the talents of Caicedo, with the pair having worked together at the Amex Stadium.

Liverpool were linked with an interest in Caicedo during the summer, and Jurgen Klopp is reportedly an admirer of the talented midfielder. The Reds were close to making an offer for the 20-year old, but Brighton were not willing to part with him.

The Ecuadorian has been in fine form this season and was one of the standout players during the Seagulls’ opening day victory against Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Chelsea signed Denis Zakaria on loan from Juventus on transfer deadline day. It’s yet to be seen whether Chelsea would keep the Swiss international beyond this season.
