Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly keeping a close eye on Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo.

Football Insider reports that Chelsea are planning to make a move for the talented midfielder as Graham Potter know the talents of Caicedo, with the pair having worked together at the Amex Stadium.

However, Manchester United and Ecuador legend Antonio Valencia has told the 20-year-old midfielder to rather make a move to Old Trafford.

“Hopefully Moises Caicedo can go to a big team in England,” Valencia said.

“He is a humble boy; he was born to be great and hopefully he can come to Manchester United.”

Reacting to the rumours of joining Chelsea, Caicedo admitted it would be a dream as he told Argentine outlet Olé: “Right now I’m very focused on Brighton and the World Cup. I want to have a great World Cup and then we’ll see what happens.

“I think they [Chelsea] are one of the best teams in the world and nobody would turn down an offer from Chelsea or any other club like that. It’d be a dream to be in the best teams in the world and succeed there.”
