PSG head coach Luis Enrique has revealed his expectations for the Club World Cup final against Chelsea.

Enrique has played down the favourites tag, and has revealed the tactical similarities between his team and Chelsea.

“It’s crucial to recognise the match’s difficulty. Chelsea have a young coach who loves possession-based football. Their team has strong individual quality, but when defending, they mirror our approach and are physically robust,” Enrique said.

“Sunday will be intense. It’ll be tough because we’re alike in most aspects of play. We’re ready, they’re ready. Both clubs won European trophies this season, so it’ll be a fascinating game,” Luis Enrique added.

Enrique also highlighted PSG’s positive mindset that has helped them all season.

He concluded: “We’re entering the final game of the season in great spirits after an excellent year. It’s vital to end this historic season on a high note – for us and the entire club. My players have been sensational all year. This has been incredible and will go down in PSG history. We want to make it even greater by winning on Sunday – it would be extraordinary.”
