It has been confirmed that Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling will miss the Premier League tie against Everton on Monday night.

Sterling is one of the Chelsea players to have been ruled out of the tie at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

Mauricio Pochettino was asked what the player’s condition is, in his pre-match press conference on Friday, and he revealed the 29-year-old is ill.

“He is suffering from vomiting, he told the doctor,” revealed the Chelsea boss on Friday.

“He was not training at the start of the week after Sheffield, because he suffered a problem in his back, but we will see.

“We need to assess him and see whether it is a virus or not.”
