Chelsea must do all they can to get Callum Wilson to Stamford Bridge, according to BBC pundit, Clinton Morrison.
Wilson is said to be a January target for Chelsea, who are in desperate need for a striker.
According to Football Transfers, Chelsea are weighing up a move for the Newcastle striker this January, with the player himself also open to the idea of leaving Tyneside for West London.
During a recent appearance on BBC Radio Live, Morrison reacted to the transfer rumour, and urged Chelsea to throw in an offer for Wilson since they need a centre forward.
He said: “Chelsea need a centre forward, Cole Palmer is not a centre forward. They were linked to Callum Wilson and if you can get him for £18 million, I’d bite your hand off.”
If Chelsea do go for Wilson, the club certainly won’t see him as a long-term solution to their goal problems, but as a short-term fix until the summer when they can bring in one of their other targets to fill the position.
