Brighton and Chelsea have reached an agreement for the transfer of Ecuadorian midfielder Moises Caicedo in a deal worth £115million.

According to Sky Sports, Caicedo has been granted permission by Brighton to have a Chelsea medical, which is expected to take place on Monday.

Liverpool thought they had won the race to sign Caicedo after reaching an agreement with Brighton only for the midfielder to reject a move to Anfield.

Caicedo was only interested in joining Chelsea and has now being granted his wish.
