According to a report on the Hard Tackle, Premier League side West Ham have pulled out of the race to sign Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.

The report states: “West Ham United will no longer push for the services of the 23-year-old Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.

“According to transfer ITK West Ham Football, Conor Gallagher wants to stay at Chelsea. The 23-year-old midfielder wants to fight for his spot despite reports suggesting that the player is expected to be on the move in the ongoing summer.

“With the player keen on continuing at Chelsea, West Ham United have decided to drop their interest in the England international.

“Gallagher has made it clear that he wants to stay at his childhood club and fight for his spot. Despite Chelsea pushing for a few more signings in the centre of the park, the 23-year-old is ready to fight for his place.

“With the player making his stance pretty clear, West Ham have dropped their interest in his services and will now focus elsewhere.”
