According to GOAL, Chelsea have shortlisted three midfield alternatives after refusing to match Brighton’s asking price for Moises Caicedo.
Brighton are demanding Chelsea pay £100million to sign Caicedo after Arsenal paid £105million to sign Declan Rice from West Ham this summer.
The Blues continue to remain interested in signing Caicedo this summer but are reportedly unwilling to match the asking price of £100m (€115m/$128m).
Chelsea have reportedly identified Ajax’s Mohammed Kudus, Southampton’s Romeo Lavia and Celta Vigo’s Gabri Veiga as alternatives to Caicedo.
