Chelsea star Christian Pulisic has been given the greenlight to leave the club this summer amid interest from AC Milan, according to a report on Daily Mail.

Pulisic, who joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2019, struggled for form and fitness this season with Chelsea. He started just eight Premier League games, with a knee injury costing him two months between January and March as well.

It is believed Chelsea will accept a transfer fee of $25million for Pulisic with the American international having just one year in his contract.

Ex-Manchester City defender Micah Richards thinks Pulisic needs to be the main man in his next club.

“He needs to go somewhere where he needs to be the main man,” Richards said on a CBS Sports.

“When he plays for the US he plays different, he feels like the main man. He’s a lot better than he shows and he needs to be more consistent.”
