The representatives of Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic have entered talks with Manchester City over a transfer from Chelsea, according to Croatian outlet TV N1 Zagreb via Metro.co.uk.

The report adds: “Pep Guardiola is a huge fan of the 28-year-old midfielder and was thought to have been interested in signing him for City in the past.

“Croatia international Kovacic is out of contract in the summer of 2024, meaning Chelsea may decide to cash in on him at the end of the season.”
