The £100million Chelsea transfer target is also attracting interest from Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side are growing increasingly confident of enticing the Birmingham-born midfielder to the Spanish capital in summer 2023.

Real Madrid see Bellingham as a long-term replacement for Luka Modric and believe the idea of becoming an icon for one of the game’s historically biggest clubs is a considerable draw for the England international.

Despite Real Madrid’s confidence they will sign Bellingham, nothing is signed yet, and there is still every chance that the 19-year-old’s future might lie elsewhere.

Since arriving in the Bundesliga in 2020 for a £30million fee, Bellingham has racked up an impressive 112 appearances and even taken on the captaincy, scoring 21 goals and assisting 19 more in the process.
