Brazil head coach Tite has heaped massive praise on Chelsea defender Thiago Silva.

The Brazilian international turned 38 on Thursday, and Tite admitted that Silva is ‘bad for football’ in a way.

According to Tite, Thiago Silva is such a good player that he makes the difficult things look so easy.

Tite said: “He will be a good coach. And he’s bad for football. Do you know why he’s bad for football?

“Because he makes things so easy and they’re hard as hell.

“He manages to make the clearest, most lucid, transparent decisions with impressive technical performance.”
