Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah has been linked with a loan move away from Chelsea.

With Chelsea set to sign an additional centre-back this summer, the Blues may be willing to permit Chalobah to leave on loan.

A number of clubs are believed to be interested in Chalobah who impressed at the club last season.

Inter Milan had shown interest in the 23-year-old defender, and reporter Nizaar Kinsella has claimed that RB Leipzig have joined the race for Chalobah is also chased by AS Roma and Tottenham.

Reporter Adam Newson has told the London Is Blue Podcast, that Romelu Lukaku is pushing Inter to take Chalobah on loan.

Lukaku is himself on a year-long loan spell at Inter – although, for all intents and purposes, he’s left Stamford Bridge for good.

Chalobah and Lukaku seem to have a good relationship, which started with Lukaku who’s friends with Nathaniel Chalobah – Trevoh’s elder brother.

Lukaku joined Inter on loan this summer on a season-long deal, after a frustrating season with Chelsea.
