Enzo Maresca subbed off two centre-backs in the second half against Liverpool, with Benoit Badiashile and Josh Acheampong forced to come off the pitch in what looked like injuries.

Chelsea’s assistant head coach Willy Caballero said that the duo weren’t injured but the subs were made to prevent injuries.

“It was just prevention because they made a great effort today. We spoke to them already and they said they were okay,” Caballero told the press conference after Chelsea’s 2-1 win.
