Player ratings Burnley vs Chelsea

Chelsea secured a 2-0 win over Burnley away at the Turf Moor.

See how the Chelsea players fared:

Robert Sanchez: Was barely tested. Had a decent game, but one scary moment where his delivery came off Enzo Fernandez could have cost the team. 6/10

Reece James: Quiet performance as he played a more defensive role. Subbed off at half-time. 6/10

Chalobah: Solid at the back. Aware of the several runs made by Burnley attackers with some good blocks ss well. 7/10

Tosin Adarabioyo: Solid partnership with Chalobah to curtail Burnley’s attack. Kept good possession of the ball. 7/10

Cucurella: Did well to help create the first goal of the game. Tucked into midfield at times to help retain possession and put in much energy to go forward and track back to help the defence. 8/10

Andrea Santos: Man of the match performance as he was solid in the middle of the park. He effortlessly replaced Moises Caicedo and was the main man in midfield today. His defensive contribution helped Chelsea especially in the first-half when the team struggled a bit. 9/10

Enzo Fernandez: Started out slowly but grew into the game. Scored Chelsea’s second goal. 8/10

Joao Pedro: Combined well with Liam Delap at times, but it didn’t always come off well for him. 6/10

Gittens: Produced a fine cross towards the back post to find Neto who was there to head home for Chelsea’s opener to mark his first Premier League assist. 7/10

Neto: Opened the scoring for Chelsea with a fine header. Hit the post in the second-half. Fine performance from the Portuguese.

Delap: Wasted a good opportunity nine minutes into the game, where he should have laid it off to one of his teammates, but chose to blast a shot from distance and it went way off target. 5/10
