Joao Pedro scored the only goal of the game as Chelsea defeated Tottenham 1-0.

The goal ended his longrunning goal drought, following an amazing assist from Moises Caicedo.

Caicedo worked hard to win the ball and pass to Pedro who had a simple task of putting the ball into the net.

Joao Pedro has said that he plans to thank Moises Caicedo for his assist.

“Moises [Caicedo], everyone knows, he’s a top, top player. It’s a pleasure to play with him,” the Brazilian forward said after the match.

“At half-time, I said to him, ‘I need to invite you to dinner!’ Just want to say thank you to him, thank you to the team for the support.”

He added, “I think it was a big game, a derby. We know they have a good team, we knew we had to do 100% to win this kind of game, and we did. Now we need to look forward.”
