Chelsea had a very comfortable lead against Wolves, as the Blues were 3-0 up at half-time.

However, the second-half was a very different game, with Wolves nearly levelling the scores.

The game eventually ended at 4-3 in Chelsea’s favour, but a red card to Liam Delap added tension to a game Chelsea should have easily won.

In His post-match analysis, Enzo Maresca said: “Completely agree with you. Very happy first-half, very upset second-half. This is the analysis and my personal view of the game.

“I think the first half we were very, very good. It’s always complicated to go away and score three goals. We were playing nice forward, great chances. We didn’t concede anything.

“And second half, we were not doing the right things. Probably the first goal we conceded, opened the game a little bit, gave them the boost, the energy to come back in the game.

“And then the three goals we conceded, I think all of them we can avoid, and for sure today also we had a very stupid red card that is completely unnecessary.”
