Chelsea’s Champions League hopes took a blow as they fell 3-1 to Bayern Munich, and Cole Palmer didn’t shy away from holding the team accountable for their mistakes.
After the game, Palmer told DAZN: “I thought we played well. We’ve shown we deserve to play here. The three goals we conceded were our own fault. We had chances.

“We broke them down well but some chances we missed. They’re a good team. We deserved better than what we got.”

Chelsea conceded two quickfire goals in the first half, before Palmer pulled one back, but it wasn’t enough to spark a comeback.
