Chelsea have reportedly secured the signing of Joao Pedro from Brighton, with the striker committing to a contract running until June 2032.

The transfer agreement, confirmed on Monday, sees Chelsea pay a fee exceeding £50 million to Brighton for the talented attacker.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Joao Pedro has completed the final part of his medical before he can finalise his move to Chelsea.

The Brazilian is expected to be registered in time for the Club World Cup quarter-final against Palmeiras.
