Chelsea are preparing a new bid for Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who has made it clear he only wants to join the Stamford Bridge club this summer, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Despite interest from other clubs, Bynoe-Gittens has expressed his desire to join Chelsea, and Dortmund are well aware of the player’s preference. Talks between the two clubs have now resumed, with Chelsea determined to secure the highly-rated 20-year-old.

The Blues have already had two offers rejected by the Bundesliga side—an opening bid of €35 million (£29.5m) followed by an improved €50 million (£42.2m) proposal. However, Dortmund are holding out for a package worth €65 million (£54.9m) before they consider sanctioning a sale.

With negotiations ongoing, Chelsea are expected to return with a fresh bid that could finally meet Dortmund’s valuation. The winger, regarded as one of England’s brightest young talents, is seen as a key target by the Chelsea hierarchy as they continue to reinforce their attacking options under head coach Enzo Maresca.
