Chelsea ended the season on a high, as the Blues sealed a place in the Champions League on the final day of the Premier League season before beating Real Betis in the Europa League final.

After winning the Conference League, Chelsea have become the first club to have collected a ‘European grand slam’, thus Chelsea are the only club to have also won the Champions League and the Europa League, as well as the UEFA Super Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup.

However, former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara is infuriated by Chelsea fans celebrating this win as an achievement, as he claims the Conference League is a “pub cup”.

“I’ve had a few messages off my Chelsea mates,” O’Hara said on talkSPORT.

“‘We’ve done the grand slam, we’ve done the grand slam. We’re the biggest team in London, done the grand slam.’ Do me a favour.

“What are you on about? The pub cup doesn’t count. I don’t want to hear one Chelsea fan come on here and say ‘we’ve done the grand slam, we wanted to win this one’.

“They didn’t even want to celebrate. It was embarrassing. Real Betis was the only half-decent team they played and they won 4-1.

“I don’t want to hear one Chelsea fan come on here and say ‘we’ve done the grand slam’.

“The only reason you’ve had the opportunity to do the grand slam is because you’ve been garbage and you’re in the pub cup.”
