It’s a dog eat dog game  between Chelsea and Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

For Chelsea fans, this is the biggest game of the season; beat Forest and seal a Champions League place for the first time in three years.

For Forest, a win today could give them a Champions League place if Newcastle or Forest fail to win.

Paul Merson is backing Chelsea to lose this tie, due to the club’s poor away form this season.

The Sportskeeda analyst said: “I don’t see Chelsea winning this game. They have lost all their away games against the top eight teams this season. So for Chelsea to go to Nottingham Forest and get a win on the last day of the season is a big challenge in my opinion.

“Away from home, they haven’t been good enough.

“The rather unfortunate thing here is that even if Forest win this game, they may not finish inside the top five! There is always plenty of drama on the final day of the season and I feel like this fixture could give us something similar.

“Forest could get the win, but I don’t expect other results to go in their favour in the race to qualify for the Champions League. Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-0 Chelsea.”

Interestingly, Forest have been poor at home in recent games. They have failed to win any of their last four games, losing three and drawing against relegated Leicester City at home last time out.

It’s a tough clash, but it’s one Chelsea can’t afford to drop points from.
