Chelsea were beaten away at the St James Park on Sunday, as the Blues lost that crucial tie 2-0.

Chelsea conceded two minutes into the game, as Romeo Lavia was dispossessed in the build-up to Newcastle’s first goal.

It became an uphill task from then on, with Nicolas Jackson getting sent off in the first-half as well.

Romeo Lavia took to social media after Chelsea’s 2-0 defeat to Newcastle, saying that he should be blamed for the defeat.

In his message to Chelsea fans after the game, he took the responsibility for the defeat.

“On me. See you Friday,” Lavia posted.

Lavia and his teammates will have a chance to make amends when they host Manchester United on Friday.
Chelsea must win this game to still have their destiny in their own hands.
