Chelsea were surprisingly  beaten 2-1 by Polish side Legia Warsaw at Stamford Bridge.

After a fantastic away victory which Chelsea won 3-0, the Blues were rattled in front of their home fans.

“For sure we are not happy with the defeat,” Enzo Maresca said at a press conference after Chelsea lost to Legia 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking after the game, Blues boss Enzo Maresca admitted that the performance and result was a setback.

He said: “Probably the first leg with 0-3 we tried to manage the result and rotated players to avoid injuries because we have an important game on Sunday.

“For sure, we are not happy with the result despite being in the semi-final.

“For sure, tonight was a setback for us.

“We lost a game. The other clubs like Villa, Newcastle have more confidence around them but things in football can change quick. Sunday, for us, is a final and can be a boost to reach our target.”
