
Chelsea have one feet in the semi-finals of the UEFA Conference League after beating Polish side Legia Warsaw 3-0 in the first leg of the quarter-final tie away in Poland.
It’s safe to say that Chelsea will have already secured passage to the semi-finals after a comprehensive victory in Poland.
With UEFA’s club competitions undergoing a revamp this season, the path to the final of the Conference League has already been mapped out.
The quarter-final and semi-final draws were both made alongside the round of 16 draw.
Chelsea will either meet Djugarden or Rapid Vienna in the semi-final.
From results of Thursday, Chelsea’s next opponent may be Austrian side Rapid Vienna, who secured a 1-0 victory away from home against Swede side Djugarden.
The 2024/25 winners will also get a spot in the Europa League next season but Chelsea will have their sights on Champions League football.
Chelsea are currently 4th in the Premier League, as the Blues are pushing for a Champions League finish.
