Enzo Maresca has welcomed a number of injured players back from injury. However, there are still a handful of long-term injury cases.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has provided updates on the injury situations of Romeo Lavia, Wesley Fofana, and Marc Guiu who have all been our for a long time.

Speaking ahead of the Conference League quarter-final match against Legia Warsaw, Maresca said: “We are going to support them, first of all because they are our player and they’re also young.

“Wes will be out for the rest of the season. Hopefully we can get Romeo will be back soon, maybe not the next game but he looks quite good.

“Marc, we have good news today that he looks good and quite better. He can be back before the season finishes.”

It was a sad situation for Marc Guiu, as he got injured when he was beginning to pick form, and also at a time when Chelsea were in dire need of a striker following the injury to Nicolas Jackson.
