Ahead of the UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final first leg meeting between Legia and Chelsea, Legia Warsaw manager Goncalo Feio has rated the English side.

Feio hailed Chelsea’s quality but believes the team is still a work in progress.

The Legia boss said: “Chelsea is the favourite of the whole competition. Chelsea is one of the best teams in the world. Rivals are fighting to be in the Champions League.

“Chelsea is a project that is developing, it is not a finished work. The rivals intend to win all matches in Europe and the Premier League.

“We want not only to neutralise Chelsea, but also to enjoy the ball and use our strengths. I expect us to be a team that believes in themselves, that has its own identity. We know that the stadium will carry us. We believe in ourselves, our philosophy and our victory.”
